Candle Care

First Burn

For the very first use, allow your candle to burn for 2–3 hours, until the entire top layer melts evenly. This prevents tunneling and ensures a longer, more beautiful burn every time.

Trimming the Wick

Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch.
A properly trimmed wick keeps the flame steady, reduces smoke, and prevents black soot or discoloration. Use a wick trimmer, scissors, or gently pinch off the burnt tip once cooled.

Safety Tips

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Extinguish when only ½ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the jar.

After Care

When your candle is finished, give the jar a second life, as a plant pot, pen holder, candy jar, or decorative container. A simple, sustainable way to keep the glow going.
